I can see the app icon after following the above procedure.. but the app crashes on opening..help

You can try uninstalling the app and then again follow the same procedure to install. The installation might have not done properly.

Tried it, but it didn’t work.  Any other recommendations?  I got the following error message:  “Could not install application on device.  The application does not have a valid signature.

    • imran_a1

Grossen make sure you have iOS 5.1 as the app is not compatible with the versions below 5.1.

My iPad was up to date when I tried it. I actually tried multiple times, with no success

It was worth the try, thanks

I got the same message the first time…then I delete the iphoto file from the list of applications (iphone utility) and added it again repeting the process and it works ok now. Everything is working except when I try to use apple tv…this functionality is not available.

I had that error message too… Drag iphoto to the applications screen of the iphone utility again and replace the first one.. After that i got it running on my ipad1…

Just a quick note. The config utility hung for me for quite a while when I tried to install the iPhoto app. After a few retries, I decided to just wait for the beach ball to stop spinning. It took a while, but worked in the end.
