Many a times you must have wished to re-size the resolution of your Windows in order to view a website in its optimum appearance. Normally to change the resolution, you should Right Click on the Desktop—>>Screen Resolution [Windows 7], and select the desired resolution. But this method is quite tedious when to want to shift swiftly between different resolutions. With Sizer you can define a custom resolution and also jump between them with the ease of a click.
Sizer is a freeware utility which helps you to resize any Window to an exact pre-defined size. It is compatible with all versions of Windows including Vista and Windows 7. It is extremely useful in web-designing when you want to quickly view how the site will look in different resolutions. Its also very handy when it comes to taking screenshots. The default sizes available are 640×480, 800×600 and 1024×768, but you can also set a custom resolution.
Once you have downloaded and Installed the App you can click on the Sizer Icon on the system tray to configure Sizer and to make a Custom Resolution.
Once configured you can easily resize window by just:
1. Right Click on the Sizer icon on the system tray and select you desired resolution.
2. Right Click on any one of the four edges of any minimized Window.
3. Right Click on the Title Bar of any Window and click on Resize/reposition and select the desired resolution.
To add a custom resolution you have to go to Sizer Configuration by clicking on the icon on the desktop or on the system tray, and click on Add and enter the custom resolution.
You can also select the direction in which the Window should appear after you have resized it. You can also enable/disable tooltip when resizing windows, sizer icon from system tray, along with window resizing snap size by checking the appropriate options from the given check boxes in the Sizer Configuration Window.
