So, iPhone throws up another surprise! The all new fingerprint scanner works on the paws of your pet dog. So next time, you will have to be doggedly ingenious to unlock the new iPhone 5S.
A boy who was playing around with the fingerprint sensor on his new iPhone 5S, that he bought, found it dull locking and unlocking it with his own finger. For no apparent reason, he decided to find out what would happen if he encoded the front right paw of his pet Chihuahua into the gadget. Guess what? It actually reads his paw, and locked and unlocked the pone much like that of a normal human finger.
The boy in an interview said, “I thought this is never going to work, and it did! The funniest thing is it only works for the paw I programmed. It doesn’t work for the other three.”
Well, so one experiment led to another, and it was found that dogs are not the only four-legged animals who can handle the sensor; it works with cats as well. What next, a manual to teach the dogs and cats how to use the phone too?
The boy further mentioned, “The more I do it the angrier he gets. I’ve tried all the paws now and he put up quite a fight to get the black ones on there. I have to give him a lot of treats.”
Well, this new and invariably funny gimmick works in favor of Apple and can be well adapted into a great marketing strategy.
First you had an app like Tom Cat that repeats whatever you say, and then you have a new updated, top of the line iPhone that can be unlocked with the fingerprint sensor or actually a paw sensor.
What more surprises, will this new iPhone 5S throw up?
