Recently just few hours ago Apple released the brand new Beta 6 version of the iOS 5, its flagship smartphone OS. As new Beta version are rolled out on regular intervals by Apple after the release of each and every Beta version the first question which comes into the mind of iDevice users is whether this version can be Jailbroken or not. Well to our surprise the recent Beta 6 version can be easily Jailbroken using the latest RedsnOw tool by selecting Beta 5 in the tool. This can be used to Jailbreak any device except the iPad 2.
The new Beta 6 version has no such significant changes over the Beta 5 version, Apple has concentrated more on fixing bugs rather than introducing new features. With the latest ResnOw Tool almost any beta version of the iOS 5 can be Jailbroken without any significant changes in the procedures. As the Jailbreak is tethered you will have to connect to a Mac or PC which has RedsnOw tool in order to boot in to the Jailbroken mode. Till now Untethered Jailbreak is not available for iOS 5 devices. One can expect it only after the official release of the iOS 5.
Also Jailbreaking means you will not be able to do any O.T.A updates of any future Beta versions of iOS. Instead it will be required to go to iTunes and Download and Install the upgrade separately. Jailbreaking is also a risky process as if anything goes wrong it will cause serious damage to the firmware of the iOS making the device useless (however, you can easily restore back from iTunes).
To Jailbreak using RedsnOw is very easy. You jut simply have to follow the on-screen instructions and you will be done. For detailed step by step instructions go to our Tutorial.
