After Apple introduced Siri it just went on to become a new meaning of Voice Assistant application. And also it is now the most promising feature of iPhone 4S which also will soon be coming to the new iPad. Also it became the major reason of iPhone 4s success. Following Siri many developers have worked to push Siri like voice assistant to different platforms. Especially to Android which is the current competitor of iOS. We have seen some of them which also worked well including Assistant, SpeakToIt, Voice Search, Vlingo, etc.

RobinNow we have Robin, another voice Assistant Application for Android which works well enough to impress its users. The developers though have applied a simple concept to it and made it especially for those traveling and driving. Robin is actually your Voice assistant on road and it helps you to just focus on road while you drive, rest is onto Robin. Robin for Android provides you every minor detail you would need while driving. Like Navigation, Places, Parking place and cost of it, Traffic details, Gas Prices, Weather details and also your Twitter feeds.

The cool video which demos Robin shows how Robin can help you around while driving. You can simply wave your hand in front of the phone to start a conversation about details you need with Robin.

Robin-NavigationIts response is smart. Also Robin keeps in mind what you ask. If you ask for a restaurant and the later ask if there is a parking. Then Robin knows by “there” you mean the restaurant you asked about. You can ask Robin about the weather in the city you are driving to get ready for it. It also provide you with traffic condition to prepare your route. Navigation of course is necessity and is fulfilled by Robin.

Robin-Navigation1Robin for Android devices has every detail you need within the U.S. It knows the places around and every detail you would need. If any place or detail is missing you can contact the developers of Robin, Magnifis and they will probably fix it. Robin for Android is in beta mode which means it will grow more mature day by day. You can download it on your Android device from the Google Play Store link below. If you are an Android user then Robin is a must try for you. Give it a try and let us know if it works well enough or not.
