It has been a while now since Apple announced the most latest in trend iOS 6 Beta at the WWDC Conference. iOS 6 with some new cool features have managed to impress the Apple Fan boys around, especially 3D Maps and Facebook integration. Not only these two but there are several other features to talk about; you can find more information about full features of iOS 6 here. At present it is in beta mode and cannot be used by users all around. The beta version is available for developers only.
But right now we are not talking about the launch and feature. It’s about Jailbreak of iOS 6 beta. Yes the iPhone Dev Team has just released Redsn0w 0.9.13dev1 which is the latest version and is capable of Jailbreaking A4 devices running latest release iOS 6 beta but tethered only. The Jailbreak will not be Untethered. And I guess you all know the Untethered Jailbreak of iOS 5.1.1 is already available and is fully functional. If have not yet done a Jailbreak of your device then Hit the following link to get Untethered Jailbreak of iOS 5.1.1 on your iDevice.
Now moving further, to Jailbreak iOS 6 beta using Redsn0w 0.9.13dev1 you need to have it of course on your device. It cannot be downloaded OTA or by any link. It is available only to developers via dev account. Since the jailbreak is meant for Developers I hope iOS 6 beta is available with all of them. Also Redsn0w 0.9.13dev1 will work only on A4 devices which means only on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G. This Jailbreak is supposed to and will allow developers to fix the bugs which are now being noticed after the iOS update to iOS 6 Beta. Most of the tweak won’t work after you update iOS 6. So until the final version of iOS 6 hits the app store and gets available for users. The developers can fix all those Cydia Tweaks and make them compatible with iOS 6.
And also we know that the Untethered or Tethered Jailbreak of iOS 6 for users won’t be hopping in until the final version is released by Apple. The dev team definitely wants to provide us the most finite tool to Jailbreak our loving iDevices. Untill then developers can enjoy the joy of using iOS 6 beta on their device and now can also jailbreak it using Redsn0w 0.9.13dev1. A device running iOS 6 and that too with Jailbreak. Isn’t that awesome?
