There are a lot of lock screen Cydia tweaks in the Cydia Store but this one is really cool. Unfold is a new cool Cydia Tweak in the Cydia store for iPhone and iPod touch. The tweak was demoed in a video before but was not available. And today it has been made available for users to grab. It can now be downloaded from the Cydia Store.
Unfold Cydia Tweak for iPhone and iPod Touch has a very simple purpose. After installation it adds an unfold type of animation to your lock screen which comes up upon unlocking. The text in the lock screen reads “Fold To Unlock” instead of Unlock which is default with the lock screen. Now when you slide to unlock the screen, a very impressive animation is shown and the screen gets unfolded. The background will show up the home screen of your device. You can see the same in the screen shots.
“It is the realization of Anton Kudin’s “fold to unlock” concept.” says the developer Jonas Gessner of Unfold Cydia Tweak. Unfold is also compatible with most of the lock screen tweaks which includes Intelliscreen X, LockInfo, Camera Grabber, Bulletin, etc. so if you have any of the lock screen tweak already installed then you do not need to worry about it. Also if you have set the passcode to unlock the screen then after unfold you will be presented with the screen to enter the passcode.
Unfold Cydia Tweak is compatible with devices running iOS 5 and above. But right now the tweak is not compatible with iPad. You can download it from the Cydia Store under BigBoss repo for free. It’s a cool tweak to check out and especially if it’s free. The Unfold of the lock screen looks just awesome. So if you have not yet tried it, go ahead and download it right away.
