Its finally official. The all new and much awaited Nokia Lumia 900 will release on the AT&T on April 9th for just a meagre price of $ 99. The first of the Lumia was released late 2011 but the Nokia Lumia 710 kept users hungry for more and finally when Nokia C.E.O Stephen Elop showed off the Lumia 900 at CES this year.
AT&T has confirmed to CNET that the device will be available for two year contract for just $ 99 which makes it a very lucrative deal.
Specification of Nokia Lumia 900 :
- Processor : 1.4GHz single core processor
- Display : 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display
- RAM : 512 MB
- Camera : 8-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
Windows Phone is a very optimized operating system for smartphones and hence it does not require a full blown hardware specification to function proper. Even the low budget Lumia 610 gave a very decent performance on a very relatively low hardware specification and so we can imagine what a Lumia 900 with that extra muscle can do.
With AT&T providing the Lumia 900 at a subsidized price of just $ 99 this can mark the beginning the Windows Phone era. Although the other Lumia phones have done relatively well than their Symbian counter part but its no where near the big names like the iOS or the Android.
