Yesterday we had reported about the release of the updated iSHSHit which allows users to directly save SHSH blobs on their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. iSHSHit ver 1.0.14 is available for free and can be now used to save iOS 5.1 SHSH blob. Now in this article we will be showing you how to save iOS 5.1 SHSH blob locally on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch without the need of a computer.
We however assume that your A4 iDevice is already Jailbroken. You can than launch Cydia and in the default Repo BigBoss search for iSHSHit ver 1.0.14 and install it on your device. Once done you are ready to go ahead to save iOS 5.1 SHSH blob with iSHSHit.
How To Save iOS 5.1 SHSH Blob Using iSHSHit In Your iPhone, iPad & iPod touch :
Step 1 : Once iSHSHit is installed restart your SpringBoard and you will notice the iSHSHit logo. Tap on it.
Step 2 : Now select your iDevice model select the SHSH blob you wish to save on your device. You will also get a list of all the previous SHSH blobs you have saved on your device using iSHSHit. You will even be notified with the Unique Chip ID of your device.
Step 3 : Once you have selected all the preferences just Tap on the button Save on the top right corner of your screen and iSHSHit will begin downloading SHSH blob from Apple servers.
You will also have the option to e-mail or send the backup to other storage mediums.
Once the download process is complete you will get the notification message so just tap on OK and that’s it you have saved iOS 5.1 SHSH blob for your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and iPod touch.
Apple is currently signing iOS 5.1 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1 and iPod touch and the iOS 5.0 for Apple TV. The iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and new iPad are not supported by iSHSHit blob.
