The new iPad or the iPad 3 which was released just today morning has been jailbroken on iOS 5.1 by the iPhone Dev Team. The news really shows how much talented the team of developers are and the jailbreak for iPad 3 on iOS 5.1 may soon be available for public.
The Dev Team had earlier released the Untethered Jailbreak for the A5 devices namely the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S but soon Apple had patched it in iOS 5.1 and the iPad 3 or new iPad which has an A5X processor was totally new entry into the game. We had also reported about the Jailbroken iPad 2 on iOS 5.1 by hacker Stefan Esser a.k.a i0n1c. The hacker had posted two screen shots of his iPad 2 on iOS 5.1 with Cydia 1.1.5 installed.
Now the famous iPhone Dev Team member and the creator of the famous tool Redsn0w, MuscleNerd has released two screenshots showing an iPad 3 on iOS 5.1 with Jailbreak. Unfortunately we do not know if the jailbreak is Untethered or not but most probably its Untethered and also there is no ETA for a public release but we expect the release to be sooner than expected.
