Samsung seems to be flooding market with phones in every range, today Samsung has announced a new low budget Android powered Smartphone called as Galaxy Pocket. The Samsung internal number is still not declared, but it will be definitely somewhere near the Samsung Galaxy Y.
Samsung Galaxy Pocket is a 2.8 inch Android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone powered by 800 mhz processor, the device has a QVGA display with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Overall the specification of the Samsung Galaxy Pocket is somewhat similar to Samsung galaxy y
The most notable thing about Samsung Galaxy Pocket is the 3 gGB of internal memory which is somewhat odd, considering the remaining specification of this device. Only high end devices have this much memory. As for the expandability the memory can be increased up to 32 GB using the micro SD card
As for the camera nothing is interesting here the device has 2 megapixel fixed focus camera with no front camera (expected).
Connectivity and Audio are somewhat same or less similar to Samsung Galaxy Y.
Other than this the device is expected to be loaded with Samsung chaton app (its Samsung BBM). Well Samsung is doing well, but need to focus on the resolution as the QVGA resolution is surely expected to raise some eyebrows.
Samsung Galaxy Pocket Specifications
Pricing and availability is still not announced but price of Samsung Galaxy Pocket surely expected to be in the price bracket of 4000-6500 INR, as Samsung Galaxy Y retails around 6400-7200 INR.
