The chronic dev team has been working really hard to bring in a fully functional and with no bugs tool for Untethered Jailbreaking of iPhone 4S and iPad 2. Right after 20th Jan the team has already released two versions to fix some of the bugs that were noticed in the first version of Absinthe. Those two versions were v0.2 and v0.3. The tool not only provides Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 but the devices with A5 chips on them as well.
Now to make it much better the chronic dev team has again came up with the updated version of Absinthe jailbreak .Absinthe v0.4 brings in some of the bug fixes for both Mac OS X and Windows. Following is the official change log which lists the changes that have been made with Absinthe v0.4.
Mac: added support for OSX 10.5, PPC and Intel CPU
added consistency check on startup to make sure required files are in place
Windows: fixed bug in payload generator that might cause a crash
So as we can see some minor changes have been made in total. Also the users who have already Jailbroken their devices does not need to re Jailbreak. It is for those users who have not yet used the tool for Untethered Jailbreak. Following are the links to download Absinthe Jailbreak v0.4.
