While Windows Phone and Microsoft Office both being a product of Microsoft, there are surely going to be some added benefits and compatibility. While you can view and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint files right on your phone, transferring the Office files to your Windows Phone is not that simple. In fact if you wish to transfer those files than you need to forward it via email them to yourself, or upload them to SkyDrive.
Unfortunately there is also not a way to copy-paste or just synchronize the files to your Phone using Zune. This was the story till now, recently XDA Forum, member and developer Thunder_, has developed an App which will allow to directly transfer the files to your PC but only for developer unlocked devices.
All you need to do is download and Install the file BookUploader.exe and connect the Windows Phone to your PC and make sure that the device screen is turned On. Now you just have to choose the files – and they’ll appear in the Office Hub. The interface of the BootUploader is also very attractive.
How To Transfer Office Files From PC To Windows Phone :
Step 1 : Connect your Windows Phone device to your PC.
Step 2 : Launch BootUploader and go to the Office Tab.
Step 3 : Go to the Upload button and select the files that you want to Upload.
Step 4 : The files will be uploaded to the Office hub on the phone.
You may need go back and open Office Hub again to see the refreshed view.
