Facebook Timeline, the latest feature for the most popular social network site is now beginning to be launched worldwide. Earlier in the f8 conference Facebook had demonstrated this new feature which was under the beta tag since few months.
As with any new feature these days the Timeline was also tested under the beta stage for many months and now that Facebook has filtered out all bugs and made it perfect, the latest feature is now seeing public release with New Zealand being the first country to have this feature. Later on the Timeline will be officially launched worldwide in coming few days.
The Timeline was set to be released in the month of October but due to some Security and Privacy issues the launch had to be delayed. During the testing phase Facebook discovered that Timeline also disclosed the information of who-unfriended-who and also it had to deal with a trademark infringement lawsuit filed by Timelines Inc.
Timeline, according to Facebook will bring your entire social networking life covered up and hence get you back to all your nostalgic moments which you shared on the Internet. This is very promising feature which is bound to get many users once launched. Also Facebook is trying to make sure it keeps the potential threat of Google Plus at bay.
Google Plus which is still in beta stage and has also garnered huge hype and tens of millions of users. The Big G has huge control over the Internet, talent reserve and advertising prowess. But with Facebook reaching the billion mark will Google really beat Facebook at its game is worth a debate.
