iPhone 4, had a very nasty death grip issue when it was launched. The issue was however Hardware based and later on was fixed by Apple. With iPhone 4S, there comes another issue and this time it is the battery. However according to Apple, the issue is caused due to software bug and is about be fixed when Apple releases iOS 5.0.2 update next week.
According to German blog Macerkopf (Mac Heads?), which focuses on the Cupertino Company, has announced that according to an Apple insider the battery issue has been completely fixed and will be resolved in the iOS 5.0.2 update which will be released next week and hence will provide all iPhone 4S users the claimed 40 hours of standby and 10 hours’ usage.
According to the same report the update iOS 5.1 which is not having any ETA will bring many advancements to the already polished iOS 5. The major update being making Siri much more smarter. While Siri already has a wide array of commands available and a plethora of functions can be executed using the Siri, the iOS 5.1 will bring much more functionality.
What we are really expecting is availability of much more languages with Siri. While Siri is much more diverse, huge array of functions that can be done and this technology being comparatively new and people still getting used to it, it will be interesting to see what more can Apple dish out for Siri.
