Apple has today released the OS X Lion 10.7.3 build 11d16, which is the third update to the Mac Operating System, for developers only.
On October 12th, Apple had released the OS X Lion 10.7.2 to public. Not after a long interval the works for the third update have entered the Beta phase. One of the major feature that 10.7.2 bought into the OS X Lion was the deep integration with iCloud. Users can now sync photos, apps, documents and music between all the devices connected to iCloud.
Talking about what new features this update brings, there is added integration with the iCloud. With OS X Lion 10.7.3, the major source of attention has been iCloud document storage, iCal, Address Book and Mail. The OS X Lion Server 10.7.3 is also bundled up with the same new aspects.
OS X Lion was released on July 20 and within a day of being released more than a million copies had been sold. The OS X Lion was originally available for $ 24.99 and the current OS X Lion 10.7.2 is now available for $ 49.99. The Server Edition of the OS is also available as a separate download from the Mac Store.
Although as of writing no issues have emerged off the new edition but Apple has anyways mentioned to developers:
“Please be aware that you will not be able to revert back to your previous system after updating. Please install this update on a system you are prepared to erase if necessary.”
