With the rapid advancements in the hardware configuration of the Laptops, battery performance hasn’t seen that development. For gaming enthusiasts and for those who work heavy duty stuffs, Laptop overheating is a serious issue as sometimes it gets way too heated. You can easily reduce the heating of your Laptop by adjusting some power options of your Processor State for your Windows 7 device only.
However we would like to note that reducing the power consumption will also reduce the heat production but it will reduce your processors overall output.
How To Prevent Your Laptop From Overheating By Adjusting Power Options:
Step 1 : Go to Power Options from the Control Menu or system tray settings.
Step 2 : Now go to Change Plan Settings –> Change Advanced Power Settings.
Step 3 : In the new windows that pops up click on Processor Power management –> Maximum processor state, now adjust the on battery and plugged in power settings.
Depending on your systems performance, configuration and your need you can adjust it 90% or even 80 %
Reducing the Processor consumption by few percentages can reduce the heat generated by 10-20 ° C and it does not even affect the performance that much. If your system can perform well you set the consumption at 80 % which will reduce the heat drastically.
