Samsung India today launched their Smartphone cum Tablet Samsung Galaxy Note in India with the price tag of INR 35,000. The Galaxy Note is one of a kind with huge Super AMOLED Display of 5.3 inch. This is the first Smartphone with 5.3 inch of Display. Samsung with Galaxy Note tries to provide a Phone which can be used as a Smartphone as well as a Tablet. In earlier report Samsung has stated the Smartphone targets female customers as they can carry the device easily in their purse. Makes sense.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Note might sound a bit high, but looking at the specification and features, the price is justified. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread Smartphone is powered with 1.4 GHz dual Core processor and 1 GB RAM. The Galaxy Note is also the first Smartphone to get a resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels with 5.3 inch Super AMOLED Display. Moreover the Smartphone has Touchwiz 4.0 in it. The Samsung Galaxy Note is a 4G LTE device, but in India 4G service is not available, so the company has not provided any info of the feature being available.
The Samsung Galaxy Note also comes with an S-Pen (Smart Pen) stylus. The S-Pen is a new Stylus that can be used to Sketch, Write, take Screenshot, sign any documents, etc. The device is also packed with many more features including 8MP rear Camera and 2MP front Camera. 16 GB internal Memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB with microSD card.
