Since the release of the iPhone 4S, Siri has been the most talked about feature of the all new device. There have been many attempts to port the Siri on other devices like iPad 2 but now with this trick you can get the Siri GUI atleast on the iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4G.
The developers all over are working on getting an efficient port of Siri on iPhone 4 or iPad 2 but as Apple servers do not accept request from any other device except the iPhone 4S and hence making the entire port process very complex.
Before we head to the step by step tutorial we would like to notify our readers that this is a GUI port only and they wont be able to get any Siri functionality on their iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4G. However if in future there is some port possible you would have the GUI ready with you.
How To Get Siri GUI On iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4G :
Step 1 : Jailbreak your iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4G on iOS 5 using RedsnOw or any other tool.
Step 2 : Download the necessary files from the link.
Step 3 : Connect your iDevice to the computer and transfer AssistantServices.framework to this location Root>System>Library>PrivateFrameworks.
Step 4 : Now open the SpringBoard folder and copy all the files to this location Root>System>Library>CoreServices>Springboard.app.
Step 5 : Now download and Install iFile in your device and go to location System>Library>CoreServices>Springboard.app and open the .plist file of your device. Your iPhone 4 will be named N90, N91 and your iPod Touch 4G will be named N81AP.
Step 6 : Now add the new property list to the existing .plist and name it assistant. Set class to Boolean and value as Yes.
Step 7 : Add the key <key>assistant</key><true/> to the .plist file.
Now just respring your device and you have the all new Siri GUI on your iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4G.
