Good news coming in for the Samsung Galaxy S II/2 users. Samsung Italy today officially announced that the device will soon be getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. At present the device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Rumors were around of ICS update for Galaxy S II and finally Samsung confirms it.
And the Samsung Galaxy S II/2 is not alone to get the Ice Cream Sandwich update. The Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Galaxy Tab series including Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7 and Tab 7.0 plus are also getting the taste of ICS update.
