Apple has already conducted the first round of the pre-order’s for the iPhone 4S. Apple has reported sold more than 4 million units in the opening weekend which is the highest for any smartphone and also more than double of what iPhone 4 had last year.
However if you were not able to get your hands on the iPhone 4S than rejoice as Apple is going to launch pre-order for the second round and the expected delivery is about October 28th. Also the iPhone 4S is going to be launched in about 22 countries including some new one’s like Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
However we would like to mention that the pre-orders for the first round went off like a craze. Within 24 hours more than million units had been ordered and also on the day of delivery many Cariers experienced server failures due to the huge volume of the Activation being made.
Apple has online stores in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. So if you are from any country not listed above than you would have to buy it on contract from the local carrier.
It will be interesting to see how Apple will be able to handle the pre-orders and also deliver on schedule.
