Users of Verizon Motorola Droid 2 have one good news coming in for them. The Droid 2 finally gets Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. Earlier in September the droid had an Update release on the Verizon’s website, but soon was shut down as the customers got a lot of error with the update.
From then onward Verizon and Motorola worked on to roll out a fresh new Gingerbread Update for Motorola Droid 2. It’s of course official and hopefully will work without any errors. The update is kind of not surprising after the launch of very recent Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. But finally the Droid 2 users will get rid of the old fashioned Android Froyo.
How To Update Droid 2 to Android 2.3 Gingerbread
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on About Phone Option
3. Hit System Updates
4. You’ll be done with update soon
