This is very important new for all those iDevices users who have more than one Apple ID’s. Apple C.E.O Tim Cook has announced that the company is now actively working to allow users to merge their Apple ID’s and hence merge their libraries.
With the release of iCloud, iDevice’s users can now share their library to all their iDevice’s through the cloud but what if some one has more than one ID and has different assets in separate libraries. Well, in that case there is no particular solution yet and users are left to divide their libraries into two different account’s which they cannot access at once.
Now for those users who have had MobileMe ID earlier and since the release of the iCloud have also got a new ID, this is perhaps the best thing happened since the release of iOS 5. So no matter if you have separate accounts in MobileMe, iTunes or iCloud very soon you can mereg all your account’s.
Tim Cook had made phone call to a customer in Luxembourg, once again noting that Apple is working on the issue. According to a report from wort.lu describes Cook’s response to the customer’s email sent two days prior.
Henrique [Xavier] pointed out that with the recent launch of iCloud and iOS 5 upgrade software on 12 October, everyone has at least 2 Apple ID’s, one before Apple’s “MobileMe” was launched, and one after. “Now, people have a library that has been split in half and we can’t take advantage of the new features of iOS 5” he stated.
Tim Cook’s response was swift, and telephoning Henrique in Luxembourg direct from Apple HQ in Cupertino explained, “Thank you very much for your email, and I just want you to know we are aware of this issue and are working on it”.
The customer named Xavier even later received calls from the Apple offices in Ireland telling him that the company has provided him a direct line for future feedback’s on Apple Products.
Apple C.E.O Tim Cook has with this moved proved the dedication that Apple endures to provide full customer satisfaction is unmatchable.
