We had on October 4th reported about the death of the Iconic Steve Jobs, who is responsible for bringing huge revolutionary technologies right into the hands of millions of people worldwide. Just few moments ago California Governor Jerry Brown has announced that Sunday, October 16th will be Steve Jobs Day in the state of California.
The news comes not as a surprise for Apple lovers as we all know that the reputation and stature of Steve Jobs is great and in the league of greatest people ever who have contributed to the techno industry.
Steve Jobs had passed away on October 4th due to respiratory arrest caused due to Pancreatic Cancer for which he was treated five years ago. His private funeral was held on Friday, October 7th and was laid to rest at Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto, California. Interestingly this is also the adobe of HP co-founder David Packard who is said to have inspired Steve Jobs.

This will also coincide with the memorial being held at Stanford University on the same day. According to Apple it will be an invitation only event and will be attended by almost all big names of the Silicon Valley.

California Gov. Jerry Brown announced Friday that Sunday, Oct. 16 will be “Steve Jobs Day” statewide, and will coincide with a private memorial planned for the Apple co-founder at Stanford University.
Brown tweeted the message late Friday after reports that some of Silicon Valley’s biggest names had been invited to a memorial dedicated to Jobs next week.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is planning a special service for Jobs at Stanford University this Sunday.
Apple will be holding an event to celebrate the life of Steve Jobs at its own campus at the Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California on October 19th.
Steve Jobs was an Iconic figure and the man responsible for creating the biggest and the most valuable company in the world. Not only has he made the biggest company but also he has revolutionize the way we communicate with each other and has took the Technological Advancements of this decade to a whole new level.
