HCL Me X1 and Beetel Magiq 2/II both the tablets have one thing in common and that is the price they come with. Both are the cheap tablets available in the Indian market as of now, if Aakash has to be kept aside. Which is a different story altogether. HCL Me X1 holds the price tag of INR 10,490 and on the other hand Beetel Magiq 2/II can be bought by loosing INR 9,500. Hardly there is a 1K difference. But there are lots of other differences between both the tablets except some. So here at GeekPrison we thought of comparing HCL Me X1 and Beetel Magiq 2/II.
OS: The HCL Me X1 tablets runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, while the Beetel Magiq 2/II is running Android 2.2 Froyo. HCL Me X1 surely wins but still does not have Android Honeycomb in it. Being a tablet Honeycomb is always expected.
CPU/Processor: HCL Me X1 is again a winner in this part as it is powered with the ARM Cortex A8 1GHz Processor. The Beetel Magiq 2/II is packed with 768MHz Snapdragon processor which doesn’t look sufficient for a tablet.
Display: The HCL Me X1 has 7 inch Capacitive Touch screen with full HD Video playback support. Beetel Magiq 2/II has the same display size but holds TFT Touch screen. Again Beetel 2/II lacks it this area.
Camera: Both the tablets have 2MP rear camera and a front camera as well. Finally one thing comes in common between HCL Me X1 and Beetel Magiq 2/II.
RAM, Inbuilt Storage and Expandable Memory: Both the tablets have RAM size in common that is 512MB of RAM. The Internal memory of HCL Me X1 is 4GB and that can be expanded upto 32GB using microSD card. Whereas memory of Beetel Magiq 2/II can be expanded upto 16GB only.
Connectivity: The HCL Me X1 has Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity and so the Beetel Magiq 2/II. This is also common between both the tablets. But in HCL you need to use 3G dongle via USB port to access 3G.
Battery: HCL Me X1 has 3500 mAh battery and Beetel Magiq 2/II comes in with 2200 mAh battery. This clarifies which tablet will last longer.
